Does Klaviyo Offer White Label? An Agency Guide

Klaviyo white label for agencies: what you can and can't brand in a client's Klaviyo account

No. Klaviyo doesn't offer a white-label version of its platform that an agency can rebrand and resell as its own. What you can brand is each client's sending identity: emails sent from the client's own domain, links on that domain, and no Klaviyo logo in the footer on paid plans. For agencies, the real white-label work happens a layer up, in the strategy, design and build services you deliver inside each client's account.

This guide covers what Klaviyo lets you brand, what its partner program does and doesn't include, and a setup checklist for each new client.

Does Klaviyo offer white label?

Not as a platform. Klaviyo's partner program helps agencies build a services practice around Klaviyo (more on that below), but it doesn't describe a white-label or reseller option that would let you put your agency's name on the app.

That matters when you're scoping a client. Your client will log in to something that says Klaviyo, and the account will usually be on their own Klaviyo plan. So a "white-label Klaviyo" offer from an agency really means white-label services delivered in Klaviyo, rather than a rebranded tool.

The search term "Klaviyo white label" tends to mix up three separate things, and it helps to keep them apart when a client or prospect asks:

  • The platform: Klaviyo's app and its branding. You can't rebrand it.

  • The sending identity: the domain your client's emails come from and the links inside them. You can brand these per account.

  • The services: strategy, design, copy and build. This is where agencies white-label, often with partners behind the scenes.

What can agencies brand inside Klaviyo?

Inside each client account, four settings decide how much of Klaviyo your client's subscribers and team members see. They're worth checking on every new account, because they're easy to miss in a rushed onboarding.

A branded sending domain

By default, emails go out on a shared Klaviyo domain. A branded sending domain makes them come from the client's own domain instead. Klaviyo's guide on how to set up a branded sending domain says this makes emails appear to come from the brand rather than Klaviyo, and that you can set up separate domains for marketing, transactional and service messages.

The same guide notes that one branded sending domain can be used across several Klaviyo accounts, which helps when a client runs separate accounts for sub-brands.

Dedicated click tracking

Without it, links in your emails are wrapped in Klaviyo's tracking domain. With dedicated click tracking, subscribers see the brand's domain when they hover over a link. Klaviyo says it needs a paid plan, and only the Owner, Admin, Manager or Campaign Coordinator roles can set it up.

Klaviyo branding in the email footer

According to Klaviyo's article on updating the Klaviyo branding in your email footer, free email accounts include Klaviyo branding in the footer, and it's removed automatically on paid email plans. If a client is still on the free plan, that's worth raising before your first campaign goes out under their name.

User roles for your team and partners

Klaviyo has seven default roles (Owner, Admin, Manager, Analyst, Campaign Coordinator, Content Creator and Support), and you can create custom user roles on all plans. Klaviyo's own advice for external agencies that only need to view content is to give view access without edit rights. Use the same thinking for anyone else you bring in: give each person the smallest role that lets them do the job.

What does the Klaviyo partner program include?

The agency partner program is about building a Klaviyo services practice, not rebranding the product. On its partners page, Klaviyo lists tailored training and certifications, co-marketing, a partner portal for lead referrals and support, and a listing in the Klaviyo Agency Directory.

Partners sit in tracks and tiers. Klaviyo Academy's lesson on partner program tracks and tiers notes that the entry tier, formerly called "Klaviyo Partner", was renamed Bronze in July 2025. Check the current requirements with Klaviyo directly, since they change.

For your agency, the program is a route to credibility and leads. It won't change what your clients see when they log in.

How agencies white-label Klaviyo work instead

Since the platform stays Klaviyo, agencies build their brand into the work around it. A useful way to plan this is to split what your client sees from what stays behind the scenes:

  • What the client sees: your agency's name on the strategy, the content calendar, the reports and every email that arrives for approval.

  • What the subscribers see: the client's brand, sending domain and links, with no sign of Klaviyo or your agency.

  • What stays behind the scenes: who designs, writes and builds each email, whether that's your team, freelancers or a white-label partner.

Design is often the first piece agencies hand to a partner, because it's hard to scale as you add clients. A design partner that delivers in Figma works from the brand guide and your briefs, then hands approved files to whoever builds in Klaviyo. At Marz, for example, we design and deliver in Figma, and your team or your build partner takes it into Klaviyo. Our guide to getting Figma designs live in Klaviyo quickly covers that handover step.

If you're weighing up partners for this layer, our complete guide to white-label email design explains how the model works, and how to outsource email design covers running a pilot before you commit.

Should your clients have their own Klaviyo login?

In most cases, yes. The cleaner setup is for the brand to own its Klaviyo account and pay for its own plan, with your agency added as users.

There are good reasons for this:

  • Data ownership: the subscriber list, flows and history belong to the brand, so nothing has to be migrated if the relationship ends.

  • Billing: the client pays Klaviyo directly as their list grows, and that cost doesn't sit on your invoice.

  • Transparency: the client can check results in their own account at any time, which backs up the reports you send.

An agency-owned account can make sense for a small pilot or a client who doesn't want the admin. If you go that way, agree in writing who owns the data and how the account transfers if you part ways.

White-label setup checklist for a new Klaviyo client

Run through this list when you onboard each new client, so the sending identity is branded from the first send and your team has the right access. It pairs well with our guide to onboarding a new email marketing client in 24 hours.

  • Account ownership: the client owns the account on a paid email plan, so the footer carries no Klaviyo branding.

  • Branded sending domain: set up for marketing sends, and for transactional sends if the client uses them.

  • From and reply-to addresses: use a monitored address on the client's domain, not the sending subdomain, so replies reach a real inbox.

  • Dedicated click tracking: links show the client's domain, ideally on the same root domain as the sending domain.

  • User roles: each person on your team, and each partner, gets the smallest role they need.

  • Brand kit: logo files, colours, fonts, tone notes and recent emails in one place, ready for your designers or design partner.

  • Brief template: one standard brief for every campaign and flow, so work can start without a call.

  • Approval step: every design and build passes your team's review before the client sees it.

Klaviyo white label FAQ

Can I resell Klaviyo under my agency's brand?

Not as a rebranded platform. Klaviyo doesn't describe a white-label version of the app, so agencies sell their own strategy, design and build services delivered in each client's Klaviyo account instead.

Does Klaviyo add its logo to my clients' emails?

On free email accounts, yes: Klaviyo branding appears in the footer. Klaviyo says it's removed automatically on paid email plans.

Can one sending domain be used across several Klaviyo accounts?

Yes. Klaviyo's branded sending domain guide says the same domain can be connected to more than one account, for example when a brand runs separate accounts for sub-brands.

Does a white-label design partner need access to my client's Klaviyo account?

Not if they only design. A partner that delivers in Figma can work from the brand kit and your briefs, and your team or build partner handles Klaviyo. If someone outside your agency does need access, give them a role that only covers what they do.
